The quilts that Ashlee made for both of my godson’s christenings were not only beautiful but such special mementos of the day once family and friends had all written their own personal messages of love and hopes on them.  I know my godson’s parents adored them and I’m sure the boys will treasure the messages just as much when they grow up.  They also look great hanging on the walls in the boy’s bedrooms.

 Three special memory cushions made for my close friend, Ann in memory of her son who is sadly no longer with us.  Ann loved the cushions saying "They are beautiful" and we were both in tears when I gave them to her.

Ashlee was able to make a lovely memory bear for my son out of the waistcoat worn by his father. The memory bear is a lovely reminder of Liam's wedding day, and something to cherish for a very long time.

The waistcoat worn by Liam was the same as Lawrence's one. Lawrence thought he would not wear it again, and so hence the memory bear.

A set of 5 traditional memory bears made from a  flower girl dress and fur bolero, which was worn by a very proud young lady to her aunt's wedding.

My four-year-old son struggles to sit still for group times at pre-school. Ashlee made him a weighted lap pad and what a brilliant thing it was. He takes it to pre-school and gets it out and puts it across his lap while sitting with his friends.

It works for a short period of time for him, but not because it doesn't work but because he wants to move around.

This beautiful cushion was made from some of my late son's football shirts which he wore at various functions. It is one of my most treasured possessions and I will keep it near me always.

Special clothing from good times in my life.  Ashlee offered to make me a traditional bear for my birthday as a present, how could I refuse.  I was amazed at what she created from the clothing and was over joyed as Ashlee made a matching cushion as well without me knowing.  They both proudly sit on my bed and remind me of good times.

Ever the sceptic, I was asked to test one of Ashlee's  weighted throws to see if it would do anything to stop my (irritating and annoying) leg twitching and jiggling that happens when I've been sitting still for a while.  The impact was immediate.  The urge to jiggle disappeared. I feel a new calm, comfortable feeling when sitting, and the twitching stops completely when I use the throw.  It may not work for everyone but as someone who has experienced the affect, I recommend giving it a go. 

I was given this bear as a wonderful reminder of my gorgeous granddaughter being a bridesmaid at my step daughter’s wedding - simply stunning!
